St. Leonard’s Place, York

New for 2024

Although St. Leonard’s Place was not constructed until the 19th century, we firstly look at the history of the area, from Roman times through medieval to the site of a Royal Mint Yard, and the building of a Theatre.

We will then find out about the people that once occupied each residence before becoming offices for the council, and now returned to residential dwellings.

Length of Talk: Approx. 1 hour

Also available for Zoom (or similar) presentations
