Discover what happens from planning to report writing
Today most archaeological sites are chosen because an Archaeological Condition has been added to a Planning Application.
This talk guides you through the processes of deciding where to dig, the different methods of revealing the archaeology, identifying different features and artefacts, research, specialist assessments, through to that final report/publication.
Examples are taken mainly from sites in York and the East Riding.
Length of Talk: Approx. 1 hour
