You may have watched archaeological programmes on TV, you may have visited some historical/archaeological sites but have you wondered what happens for these discoveries to be made?

In the UK today, many development sites require some form of archaeological evaluation to take place and it is on these sites where many of the new discoveries are being made.

This talk looks as the role of a ‘Commercial Archaeologist.’

From the pre-site research, looking at the different types of sites and features which may be encountered, the processing of archaeological material to the final report.

With Q&A at the end of this session.
